The public art project “Vores Kunst”

Art for 1,5 million – but where?

Denmark is getting three new artworks. Where should they be placed and who should create them? Now all Danes are encouraged to send in their suggestions for public places the could use an artwork. Three art experts will then select the specific sites and artists and will at the same time guide the viewers and citizens from the selected Danish locations through the process of artistic creation. Charlotte Bagger Brandt of Råderum has been selected as one of Danish Broadcasting Corporation’s (DR) art experts along side with Marie Nipper from ARoS – Aarhus Art Museum and Peter Kirkhoff Eriksen from The National Gallery of Denmark .“Vores Kunst” is a major public art project that links The Danish Arts Foundation and The Danish Arts Council’s art expertise with DR’s media professionalism. It enables the three parties to create a unique project with a high artistic level and a massive media impact.
