Charlotte Bagger Brandt (1968) is a Danish curator and art consultant. She is educated from Copenhagen and Leipzig University in 1998, where she studied art history and history of ideas. Since 1999 she has curated art exhibitions, seminars and other art related projects inside as well as outside the art institution, in Denmark and abroad.

After several years as senior curator at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, where she was appointed deputy director in 2006, she initiated Råderum – mobile office of contemporary art in 2008.

Bagger Brandt was initiator and curator at U-TURN Quadrennial for Contemporary Art in 2008. At Kunsthal Charlottenborg she curated the exhibitions Taking Place, Fundamentalism of the New Order, Disturbance and Temporary Spaces. She co-initiated several collaborative projects such as Mirror’s Edge with Okwi Enwesor and University of Umeaa, Organising Freedom with David Elliot, Moderna Museet, Stockholm and My Head is on Fire but my Heart is full of Love with Toby Webster og Will Bradley, Modern Institute, Glasgow. Earlier Bagger Brandt has worked at Kunstforeningen Gammel Strand and Danish Design Center. In addition she has been involved in the Exhibition Space 1% and The Art Magazine 1%.
Bagger Brandt also teaches in art in public space at Copenhagen University.

Amalie is working with curating, coordinating and developing projects in Råderum. She is also responsible for all written dissemination and social media. Besides being in Råderum Amalie is working as a curator in Astrid Noacks Atelier, a project space located in Copenhagen.

Amalie holds a masters degree in modern culture from Copenhagen University.

Previously Amalie has worked as curator assistant at Galleri Image, as project manager at the Danish Arts Workshop  and as a writer and critic for various online magazines and platforms.
